Lumberjacks Begin Conference Play with Impressive Road Win at Watson Chapel

PINE BLUFF, Ark. – The Warren Lumberjacks made an emphatic start to their 8-4A conference schedule, defeating Watson Chapel 60-50 on the road Friday night, January 17, 2025.

Warren opened with a strong first quarter, fueled by six points from Bleyze Fellows, to take a 14-9 lead. By halftime, the Lumberjacks had extended their advantage to 30-18, with contributions from four different players.

Watson Chapel mounted a comeback in the third quarter, narrowing Warren’s lead to just one point at 40-39. However, the Lumberjacks responded with a decisive fourth-quarter performance. Point guard Tramond Miller led the charge, scoring six points from the field and going a perfect 4-for-4 at the free-throw line to help secure the 10-point victory.

With the win, Warren improves to 5-2 overall and 1-0 in conference play.
