Lumberjacks Hold Off Star City to Stay Undefeated in Conference

WARREN, Ark. – The Warren Lumberjacks held their ground Tuesday night, defeating Star City 69-60 at home to remain perfect in conference play. The win pushes Warren’s overall record to 6-2 and their conference record to 2-0.

The Lumberjacks got off to a hot start, leading Star City by as much as ten points in the first quarter. David Jordan Jr. tallied six points in the opening frame, helping Warren to a 15-8 lead after one.

In the second quarter, point guard Tramond Miller stole the spotlight, scoring 10 of his game-high 25 points. Warren carried a comfortable 34-24 lead into the halftime break.

Despite some resistance from Star City in the second half, Warren sealed the win with a strong finish, highlighted by a crowd-pleasing dunk from Bleyze Fellows in the closing moments. The Lumberjacks kept their composure to secure the 69-60 victory.
