Nell Rose Bryant Reaves, 1942-2025

Nell Rose Bryant Reaves, age 82, of Warren, Arkansas died Saturday, January 11th, 2025. She was born to Hermon Obidiah Bryant and Vonnie Corinne Bryant on September 3rd, 1942. Nell was a 1960 graduate of Warren High School. Nell married Hugh Reaves on October 17, 1964, and they spent 55 years raising their family in Texas City, Texas, before retiring back to Warren.

Nell was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Hugh Reaves, Jr., and two brothers, Charles Richard Bryant and Robert Hermon Bryant. She is survived by a son, Darren Hugh Reaves and spouse Crystal, League City, TX; daughters Mandy Reaves Morton, Dickinson, TX and Kim Reaves Menchaca and spouse Daniel, Georgetown, TX; brother James Edward “Buster†Bryant and spouse Jewel, Crossett, AR; sisters Frances Bryant Cornish, Warren, AR and Sandra Bryant Halley and spouse Steve, Monticello, AR; grandchildren Matthew Beard, Jordin Menchaca, Gunner Morton, Halli Morton, and Cort Reaves; and many nieces and nephews who all loved their Aunt Nell. Nell’s greatest accomplishment was her job as mother and homemaker for all those many years. The joy of her life was her grandchildren and being their “Mimi.â€

Graveside service was 2:00 pm Thursday, January 16th, 2025 at Reaves Family Cemetery with Rev. Chris Barnes officiating with burial in Reaves Family Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
