WARREN, Ark. – The Warren Lumberjack men’s basketball team remains the only undefeated squad in 8-4A Conference play after an impressive 51-34 victory over the Monticello Billies on Tuesday night at Lumberjack Arena. The win moves Warren to 4-0 in conference action and 8-2 overall.

Warren started off slower than usual but still managed to hold a 13-6 lead at the end of the first quarter, with Josiah Steen knocking down a three and Antonio Jordan adding a couple of key baskets. The Lumberjacks maintained control in the second quarter, heading into halftime up 23-14.
David Jordan, Jr. hit a three-pointer in the third quarter as Warren extended its lead, and strong contributions off the bench from Zaydin Grider and Cam Burks helped secure the victory. Warren’s defense held Monticello in check, sealing the game with a dominant fourth quarter.
The Lumberjacks now sit atop the 8-4A Conference standings, leading the race for the Conference title.
