A special Chili & Desserts Fundraiser will take place on Saturday, February 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Powerhouse COGIC, located at 815 W. Central St. in Warren, Arkansas.
The event will feature a variety of food options, including the Mother Daniels Special for $10, which includes a bowl of chili, tea cakes, and a drink. Other menu items include a bowl of chili ($4), Frito chili pie ($4), and chili dog ($3).
For those with a sweet tooth, tea cakes and slices of sweet pie will be available for $2 each, along with drinks for $2 and bottled water for $1.
The event is a tribute to Mother Jessie Mae Daniels, with special thanks extended to her family for their support.
Community members are encouraged to attend, enjoy a warm meal, and contribute to a great cause.
