WARREN, Ark. – In a historic achievement for Warren High School basketball, Coach Correy Muldrew has been named the 4A Region-8 Conference Coach of the Year after leading the Lumberjacks to their first 8-4A Conference title in many years. Not only did Warren capture the championship, but they also went undefeated in conference play—a feat that, according to the best research our team could put together, has not been accomplished in modern Lumberjack basketball history.

This latest milestone follows last year’s breakthrough season, when Warren made its first State Playoff appearance in many years under Coach Muldrew’s leadership. Now, the Jacks have a chance to build on that momentum. If they can secure a victory in their opening-round game on Wednesday night, they will advance to the 4A State Playoffs for the second consecutive year—a testament to the program’s resurgence and the culture of excellence being built.
Coach Muldrew’s impact extends beyond the win column. His commitment to his players, emphasis on discipline, and ability to inspire have been key in Warren’s rapid rise as a basketball contender.
Congratulations to Coach Muldrew and the 2025 Lumberjack basketball team on this incredible season!
