Woodlawn Bears Take Second at Monticello Weight Meet, Rauls Earns Best Overall Lifter

WOODLAWN, Ark. —The Woodlawn Bears showcased their strength over the weekend, placing second overall at the Monticello Weight Meet. Several Bears turned in notable performances, including two first-place finishes and a standout award.

Tucker Hoyt topped the 114-pound weight class to earn first place, while Jude Rauls not only captured first in the 165-pound division but was also recognized as the Best Overall Lifter of the meet.

Other notable results for the Woodlawn squad included:

  • Justus Lowe: 2nd place (105-pound weight class)
  • Trevor Edmondson: 2nd place (114-pound weight class)
  • Jax Holland: 2nd place (132-pound weight class)
  • Aden Moore: 4th place (165-pound weight class)
  • Matthew Green: 3rd place (181-pound weight class)
  • Dakota Campbell: 4th place (225-pound weight class)

The team’s collective effort led to a runner-up finish, continuing the Bears’ strong season on the powerlifting platform.
