Music lovers and history enthusiasts gathered at the Bradley County Library on Friday night to experience a captivating performance by Warren native Greg “Big Papa” Binns. The event, a Cross Pollination Blues program, blended storytelling with live music to celebrate the legacy of blues singer CeDell Davis and the rich musical history of Warren.

Accompanying Binns was harmonica player David Forest, whose soulful playing added depth to the performance, even evoking the sounds of a train whistle at times. Together, the duo transported the audience through Warren’s musical past, delivering a night filled with both nostalgia and education.

The library provided food and drinks for attendees, and by the end of the evening, there was buzz about organizing a future Catfish Row Blues Night.

The event proved to be both entertaining and informative, leaving many in the audience eager for more live music and history in the future.
