Right from the opening whistle, Warren’s forward line sprang into action. Less than a minute into play, dynamic winger Azul Garcia whipped a crisp cross across the face of goal, putting Nashville’s defenders on notice. In the 5th minute, Garcia sliced down the right wing and unleashed a dangerous shot, which was denied by the Nashville goalkeeper.

By the 9th minute, Warren’s early pressure paid off. After a scramble in the box, striker Jennifer Carpenter—showing her poacher’s instinct—poked the ball home for the game’s first goal. Following the opener, Garcia nearly doubled the lead in the 20th minute with a long-range rocket from 30 yards out that flew just over the bar. Nashville then generated a threat of their own in the 22nd minute, but Warren’s Naideth Pahuamba came to the rescue with a last-second clearance. Warren suffered a setback in the 35th minute when Carpenter exited due to an injury, and the teams went into halftime with Warren holding a 1-0 advantage.

The second half began with Warren again pressing the attack. In the 43rd minute, Anna Arroyo saw her effort blocked, and two minutes later, Aria Hunt powered a shot on frame, which was once again well saved by the Nashville keeper. Warren’s Allie Adair played her part in keeping the lead intact, making a crucial stop in the 52nd minute.

Moments later, the Lady Jacks seized control. In the 54th minute, Allison Mondragon unleashed a beautiful left-footed strike that soared into the top corner, putting Warren up 2-0. Though Nashville continued to test Adair—who came up big with another stop in the 62nd minute—Warren added to their tally in the 65th minute. Arroyo slotted home a tap-in from a rebound, extending the Lady Jacks’ lead to 3-0.

Nashville managed to pull one back in the 76th minute, taking advantage of a defensive miscue to slot the ball into an open net. Despite that momentary setback, Warren locked down the result the rest of the way. At the final whistle, the Lady Jacks walked off with a solid 3-1 victory, keeping their undefeated streak alive and moving to 3-0 on the season.
