Robert and Lottie McKinney Gift $634K to Warren High School

Warren, Arkansas (March 21, 2025) – The Warren School District has announced that Robert and Lottie McKinney have bequeathed $634,341.56 to Warren High School, fulfilling the couple’s wish to support the Warren community and its students. In an official statement, the District shared the following:

“It was the wish of Robert and Lottie McKinney to gift a portion of their estate to the Warren, Arkansas community by contributing to Warren High School. Bob graduated from Warren High School as a member of the Class of 1949. Bob and Lottie valued the importance of education, and Bob was forever grateful to his family, his community where he grew up, the Warren School District, and the United States Air Force for helping to prepare him for success in life. Bob was a smart, joyful, and caring man. He enjoyed the company of others. Bob was a cherished member of the North Hill Community, in Des Moines, Washington, about 15 miles south of Seattle.”

The announcement goes on to say:

“Warren School District and Warren High School are deeply grateful to be the recipient of a generous $634,341.56 donation from Robert and Lottie McKinney. WSD pledges to honor their wishes to use their donation to benefit our students and invest in their future.”

According to district officials, a committee will be formed to determine how best to utilize the McKinneys’ contribution “to determine how this donation can be best used to benefit” students.
