Colton Steen, Jude Cathey, and Bleyze Fellows will participate in Arkansas Boys State, while Chloe Sanders, Kalees Lewis, and Azul Garcia have been selected for Arkansas Girls State. These programs, sponsored by the American Legion, provide high school juniors with an opportunity to engage in hands-on learning about government, leadership, and civic responsibilities.

The selected students will join peers from across the state in a week-long experience, where they will take on roles in a simulated government, participate in elections, and learn from state leaders. Arkansas Boys State will be held at the University of Central Arkansas, while Arkansas Girls State will take place at Harding University.

The American Legion Post sponsors these students, recognizing their leadership potential and commitment to civic engagement.
