WARREN, Ark.– The Warren community is invited to roll up their sleeves and make a difference during the 2nd Annual “Polish the Pink” event, scheduled for Friday, May 31, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Warren City Park.

Organized as a community-wide cleanup effort, the event offers a chance for residents to help beautify the city and prepare for the summer season. Volunteers of all ages are encouraged to attend, and the event is also a great opportunity for students and others needing community service hours.

Warren City Council Member Latanza Atkins, who is spearheading the effort, shared a message of unity and purpose: “Let’s come together to clean up our community, and a great opportunity to receive community service hours. Please share, talk about it, and come help! #ServeWithPurpose”

Those interested in volunteering can contact Latanza Atkins for more information.

“Polish the Pink” is part of a growing tradition in Warren that reflects civic pride and shared responsibility. As the Pink Tomato Festival approaches in June, events like this help ensure Warren puts its best foot forward for visitors and residents alike.
