Brenda Curry Ozment age 82, of Sumpter, AR died April 2, 2025 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. She was born March 23rd, 1943 in California, a daughter of the late Bob Curry and Lurean Hales Curry Brown. Brenda was a housewife and homemaker; she worked for Jack Winter and LaDonna Sportswear. She was a member of Saline Baptist Church and the widow of Darrell Dewayne Ozment. Also preceding her in death was her son, Richard Ozment and a daughter Debra Alexander.
Surviving is her son, Charles. “Buckshot” Johnson and spouse Wendy, Fayetteville, GA. Daughters Cindy Johnson, Sumpter, AR and Connie Ozment Gill and spouse John, Memphis, TN, son Bobby Ozment, Crossett, AR. Brothers Jimmy Curry, Texas; Joey Carl Curry, Texas; Donald Curry, Texas; Michael Curry, Hermitage, AR and Jerry Curry, Hermitage, AR. Sister Glenda Curry, Hermitage, AR. A step-son Bobby Ozment, Crossett, AR. 11 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held 10:00AM Saturday, April 5th, 2025 at Frazer’s Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Saunders officiating. Burial was in Outlaw Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
