Warren, Ark. – 4-9-25 – The Warren Lady Jacks showcased grit and determination on Tuesday evening as they battled the Monticello Lady Billies in a high-energy softball matchup. Despite falling 20-9, the Lady Jacks mounted an impressive mid-game rally and saw several players step up with strong performances at the plate.

Monticello jumped out to an early 4-0 lead in the top of the first, but Warren wasted no time responding. Ember Johnson sparked the offense with a one-out triple, and Charlee Wardlaw drove her in with a single to put the Lady Jacks on the board.
Down 9-1 after two innings, Warren continued to fight. In the third, Haven Johnson led off with a double, and in the fourth, the Lady Jacks put together a five-run surge. Natalie Hargrave singled, Raeleigh Milton followed with an RBI triple, and Breize Fellows added an RBI single. Ember and Haven Johnson also contributed RBIs in the frame, cutting the deficit to just five runs at 11-6.
After holding Monticello scoreless in the fifth, Warren capitalized again as Bayleigh Miller and Hargrave reached base. Miller later scored on a passed ball, and the Lady Jacks pulled within four runs heading into the sixth.
Monticello added to their lead late in the game, but Warren continued to swing with confidence. Miller crushed a solo home run to lead off the bottom of the seventh, and Milton doubled and came around to score the team’s final run.
Several Lady Jacks turned in standout performances at the plate. Raeleigh Milton finished 2-for-4 with a triple, double, and two runs scored. Ember Johnson and Haven Johnson each went 2-for-4 with RBIs. Miller was 1-for-3 with a home run, while Wardlaw, Calloway, and Hargrave each added hits.
Now 9-2 on the season, the Lady Jacks remain one of the most competitive teams in the area. They’ll look to return to the win column on Friday, April 12, when they host Hamburg at 5:00 p.m.
