Richards’ Upcoming Senior Art Thesis Exhibition at UAM Glassblock Gallery

MONTICELLO, Ark. – Remiko Richards’ senior art thesis exhibition, “Moments in Light and Shadow,” will be on display from April 16 through April 22 in the Glassblock Gallery in the Fred J. Taylor Library and Technology Center at the University of Arkansas at Monticello (UAM). A public reception will be held on Wednesday, April 16, from 6 to 7 p.m.

Richards’ exhibition explores light and shadow in black-and-white ink and graphite drawings. “I want people to connect with and react positively to specific moments in time,” he said.

The Glassblock Gallery’s hours are Mondays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Tuesdays from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 3 to 4:30 p.m., Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
