WARREN, Ark. – Bradley County citizens gathered Monday morning, May 26, 2025, at First Methodist Church of Warren to pay tribute to those who gave their lives in service to the United States during the annual Memorial Day ceremony.
The program opened with a welcome and moment of silence led by Clifford Wayne Clayton, Chairman of the Bradley County Veterans Organization. Pastor Karl Dixon Platt of First Methodist Church offered the opening prayer.
Felecia Doster and Jonalyn Reep provided musical tributes, performing the National Anthem and later joining together for “Let There Be Peace On Earth.”
Guest speaker Pastor Chad Greenwood of Union Hill Baptist Church in Ingalls delivered the Memorial Day remarks. Greenwood, a retired First Sergeant of the U.S. Army and current Warren High School JROTC instructor, also presented the Arkansas VFW JROTC Cadet of the Year Award to WHS student Cadet LTC Alliana Ayala.
City of Warren Mayor Gregg Reep joined in honoring Ayala, recognizing her achievement on behalf of the City.
The program concluded with the singing of “God Bless America” and the playing of Taps, offering a solemn close to the community’s tribute to fallen service members.
