DeQUEEN, Ark. – 5-8-25 – The Warren Lady Jacks continued their postseason momentum on Thursday with a convincing 9-4 win over DeQueen in the 4A South Regional Softball Tournament, securing their second consecutive trip to the 4A State Tournament.

Warren’s offense came out hot in the top of the first inning. Haven Johnson singled to lead off, and with one out, Charlee Wardlaw launched a two-run home run to give the Lady Jacks an early 2-0 lead. Bayleigh Miller followed with a single, and Presley Reep added an RBI single to extend the lead to 3-0.
DeQueen responded with a run in the bottom half of the inning, but Warren’s defense stepped up to strand two base runners and hold the advantage at 3-1. Both teams traded scoreless frames through the second, third, and fourth innings in a defensive showcase.
Warren broke through again in the top of the fifth when Raeleigh Milton singled, and with two outs, Natalie Hargrave followed with a single of her own. Breize Fellows then came through with a clutch RBI single to make it 4-1.
The bats stayed hot in the sixth. Haven Johnson singled again, and Wardlaw crushed her second home run of the game. Miller then doubled and scored on Milton’s RBI single to push the Lady Jacks’ lead to 7-1.
DeQueen battled back in the bottom of the sixth with a home run and a pair of hits to cut the deficit to 7-3. But in the top of the seventh, Fellows doubled and Johnson capped her perfect day at the plate with a home run on a 3-2 fastball, effectively putting the game out of reach at 9-3. DeQueen added one final run in the bottom of the seventh, but Warren sealed the 9-4 victory.
The Lady Jacks were led offensively by Haven Johnson (3-for-3, HR), Charlee Wardlaw (3-for-4, 2 HR), and Bayleigh Miller (3-for-4). Natalie Hargrave went 2-for-3, Breize Fellows was a perfect 2-for-2, and Raeleigh Milton added a 2-for-4 performance. Presley Reep and Ember Johnson each contributed a hit.
With the win, Warren advances to the 4A State Softball Tournament, continuing an impressive postseason run.
