WARREN, Ark. – The Warren Lumberjacks delivered a high-scoring sendoff in their final home match of the 2025 season, defeating Lonoke 7-2 on senior night Thursday evening at Jim Hurley Jr. Stadium.

Despite an early defensive miscue that led to an indirect free kick goal by Lonoke in the 7th minute, Warren responded instantly. Jacarlos Marquiz struck back immediately with a deflected shot that found the net to level the score at 1-1.

Momentum stayed firmly with the Lumberjacks from there. In the 9th minute, Daniel Castillo calmly slotted home a finish to give Warren the lead. Just two minutes later, Marquiz netted his second of the night, blasting a 35-yard shot to the far post for a 3-1 advantage.

Senior Alexander Bartolo joined the scoring with a sensational 40-yard strike in the 15th minute. Castillo added his second in the 19th with a low-driven shot to make it 5-1. A Lonoke own goal in the 28th minute extended the lead to 6-1 heading into halftime.

Warren tacked on one more in the second half thanks to a goal by DeSean Adams Jr., putting the game well out of reach. Lonoke added a late goal with two minutes remaining, but the night belonged to the Lumberjacks, who capped their home slate in dominant fashion.

With the win, Warren improves to 9-2-2 on the season. Their final regular-season game will be on the road against Monticello on Friday.
