MONTICELLO, AR – 5-27-25 – The Arkansas Forestry Association Education Foundation has announced that its Summer Teacher Conservation Tour (TCT) Workshop Series is now open to everyone, not just classroom educators. The expanded access provides a unique opportunity for the public to explore Arkansas’s rich natural resources, forest industries, and conservation efforts through three hands-on workshops this June.
Each TCT workshop offers participants a deep dive into forest management, conservation, and timber-related careers. Supported by forest industry partners across the state, the series features low registration fees to encourage broad attendance. The cost is $30 per workshop, with an optional $50 fee for overnight lodging.
