WARREN, Ark. – Warren High School Art Club students, accompanied by WHS Art teacher Mrs. Janey Sanders, took a creative field trip to the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts in Little Rock on Wednesday.
The trip offered students an opportunity to explore the museum’s diverse collection, deepening their appreciation for visual art across various styles and periods. In addition to enjoying the exhibits inside the museum, students also engaged in hands-on outdoor painting sessions. Inspired by the tradition of French Impressionists, they practiced “en plein air” painting—creating artwork in the open air within the museum park grounds.
The experience allowed students to blend education with creativity in a real-world art environment, offering inspiration and practical application outside the classroom.
