LITTLE ROCK – The National Weather Service in Little Rock is monitoring a developing weather pattern that could bring strong to severe thunderstorms to Arkansas in the coming days.
In a statement released Tuesday morning, the agency said:
“It is looking like another stretch of active weather is shaping up for the state. A series of upper level impulses will interact with a moist, and unstable air mass, aided by a front to possibly produce strong to severe thunderstorms. Right now it appears that strong gusty winds will be the primary concern but nothing can be ruled out.”
Residents across the state are encouraged to remain weather-aware and monitor updates from the National Weather Service as the situation continues to develop.
