WARREN, Ark. – Recent Warren High School graduate Cam Burks has officially committed to play college football at Arkansas Baptist College in Little Rock. Burks announced his commitment Tuesday, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to continue his football journey and represent Warren at the collegiate level.

Burks stepped up in a major way during the 2024 season, taking over as starting quarterback for the Lumberjacks after Jackson Denton suffered an early-season injury. In addition to leading the offense, Burks was also a standout defender, making key plays for the Jacks on both sides of the ball.

“I’m excited to announce that I’m officially committed to Arkansas Baptist College!” Burks wrote in his social media post. “Grateful for the opportunity to continue my journey at the next level and represent Warren, AR. Big thanks to everyone who’s supported me along the way — the grind doesn’t stop!”

Burks will join the Arkansas Baptist Buffaloes as a defensive back. The program competes in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
