WILMAR, Ark. – The Drew County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that took place at a convenience store in Wilmar on the evening of July 18.
Sheriff Tim Nichols issued the following statement on social media:
“On July 18, 2025 at approximately 11:10pm the Drew County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to J-Birds Convenience Store in Wilmar in reference to an armed robbery. Upon the arrival of Deputies at approximately 11:13pm it was discovered that the robbery took place at approximately 8:40pm. The armed suspect had come into the store demanding money and products before leaving on foot.”
Authorities are seeking information that could lead to identifying the suspect.

The investigation is ongoing.
