WARREN, Ark. – A new book club series hosted at the Warren Branch Library is inviting members of the community to take a thoughtful and engaging look at the claims of Christianity.
The book club, titled “Fact or Fable: Examining the Claims of Christianity,” will center its first four-session discussion around the bestselling book More Than a Carpenter by Josh McDowell. Each session will examine key questions such as:
- What makes Jesus different?
- Are the Bible’s records reliable?
- Did the disciples lie about the body?
- Could another man fulfill the prophecies?
The book club will meet monthly, with sessions scheduled on August 5, September 2, October 7, and November 4. Each meeting will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Warren Public Library.
Organizers say the club will include snacks, refreshments, and an open discussion format, providing an inviting atmosphere for both believers and skeptics to explore and examine the historical and spiritual foundations of Christianity.
Those interested in attending are encouraged to RSVP through First Baptist Church of Warren at (870) 226-5884.
