Brenda Anders Stroud, 1951-2025

Brenda Anders Stroud age 73, of Crossett, AR died Tuesday, August 19th, 2025 at her home in Crossett, AR.  She was born October 18th, 1951 in Bradley County, AR a daughter of the late Arthur Anders and Iris Janet Reynolds Anders. She was a retired Crossett Public School teacher with 30 plus years of service, teaching in English and Reading, she loved to hunt, fish and grow a big garden.  Brenda was a member of Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church and a graduate of the Hermitage Public Schools where she hustled for the Hermits in Basketball. 

She is survived by her husband, Donald Stroud whom she married February 25th, 1977.  Sons, Dr. Andrew Stroud, Ruston, LA and Michael Stroud and spouse Tracie, Shreveport, LA. Her brothers, Andy Anders and spouse Melinda, Warren, AR, Steve Anders and spouse Nancy, Warren, AR. grandchildren Kaitlyn Stroud, Noah Stroud and Elias Stroud.  Her sister-in-law Dorinda Stroud Pistole and spouse Don,  Rogers, AR. 

Graveside services were 3:00PM Sunday, August 24th at Shady Grove Cemetery with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Burial in Shady Grove Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Denny Dixon, Justin Anders, Don Braswell, Elias Stroud, Kris Pistole and a honorary pallbearer Noah Stroud.
