Donny (Don) Charles Burch, aged 78, of Warren, Arkansas, passed away on 24 August 2025 surrounded by his daughter and nieces. Born on 13 March 1947 in Collins, Arkansas, Don lived a life marked by his love of the outdoors and great sense of humor.
Don is survived by his children: Angela Burch (Amy Young) of Colorado Springs, CO., Stephanie Griffith (Sueann Kees, Veronica Rhodes, Sara Griffith, Beau Griffith, Austin Griffith, Preston Griffith, Whitney Petite, and Andrew Griffith) of Mount Juliet, TN., Crystal Hefley (Jacob Hefley and children Hayden, Brayden, Leland and Ella) of Benton, AR., Cody Burch (Bailey, Cayden and Grayson) of Bismark, AR., stepson Aaron Collier (Stephanie and Emily) of Bismark, AR., and stepdaughter Ashley Collier of Bismark, AR. 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers: Jerry Burch, Grady Burch, AP Burch, Jr., and Ronald Burch and sister Judy Pat Rogers.
He was a member of Pleasant Valley Freewill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara McPherson Burch, his father and mother-AP Burch, Sr. and Zelma Bailey and one sister, Jo Ann Baggett.
Don was an avid hunter and fisherman. He always enjoyed telling tales of past hunting and fishing adventures. He especially enjoyed turkey hunting and crappie fishing. He was a police officer for 7 years and then worked as a carpenter.
The family will hold visitation on 6 September 2025 at 10 am at Frazer’s Chapel in Warren, Ar. A graveside service will follow at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
