WARREN, Ark. – The family of Rodney (Rod) Dean Riedel, 58, who has been missing since August 5, is appealing to the public for help as their own search efforts continue near Clinton, Arkansas.
Riedel’s wife, Angela McCrary Riedel, said that she and other family members have spent the past couple of days searching along Highway 65 in the Clinton area but have not had success. The rugged, heavily wooded terrain has made it nearly impossible to cover effectively without the help of a larger group.
Because of this, she is asking for volunteers to join in organizing a more detailed search effort. Those willing to help are encouraged to reach out to her directly through Facebook Messenger.
“All help is appreciated,” she said, adding that the family is still not receiving assistance from agencies in the area.
Riedel was last seen leaving the Alon Station on Martin Street in Warren on the night of Tuesday, August 5. He was driving a black 2007 Honda Ridgeline with Arkansas license plate number BCV43D and was believed to be traveling to Branson, Missouri. His last known phone activity pinged near Clinton in the early morning hours of August 6.
