WARREN, Ark. – A new opportunity is opening up for young athletes in South Arkansas as the South Arkansas Futures organization works to create a 6U coach pitch baseball team for children from Monticello, Woodlawn, Star City, Warren, and surrounding communities.
Organizers are seeking players who will still be 6 years old as of May 1, 2026, meaning participants cannot turn 7 before that date to be eligible.
The new team aims to provide local youth with foundational baseball experience, teamwork development, and community engagement through organized sports.
