WARREN, Ark. – Bradley County Judge Klay McKinney announced Monday that he will not seek reelection when his current term ends in 2026.
In a statement sent to Saline River News, McKinney expressed gratitude to Bradley County residents while confirming his decision to step away from public office at the conclusion of his term.
McKinney’s full statement reads:
“To the Citizens of Bradley County,
After thoughtful consideration, I have decided that I will not seek reelection as Bradley County Judge at the end of my current term which ends on December 31, 2026.
Serving as the County Judge has been one of the greatest honors of my life. I am deeply grateful for the trust and support I have received from the citizens of Bradley County.
This decision was not made lightly, but I believe it is the right one for me and my family at this time. I remain fully committed to serving out the remainder of my term with the same dedication and focus that I have always brought to this office.
