WARREN, Ark. – The Arkansas Department of Health is reminding residents that flu season is approaching and encouraging the public to get vaccinated. A flu shot clinic will be held on Tuesday, September 23, at the Bradley County Health Unit, located at 208 North Bragg Street in Warren.

The clinic will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and the cost is free. While the flu shot is available at no charge, participants are asked to bring their insurance card if they have one.

The flu vaccine is considered one of the best ways to protect against seasonal influenza, which can cause serious illness, hospitalizations, and even death, particularly in vulnerable populations such as young children, older adults, and individuals with certain health conditions.

For more information about the clinic, call the Bradley County Health Unit at 870-226-8440.
