WARREN, Ark. — Local Warren artist Rob Reep will have two original paintings featured in the upcoming Member Showcase exhibition at the South Arkansas Arts Center in El Dorado. The exhibition runs from September 23 through October 29, and highlights the diverse talent of artists from across the region.
Reep’s featured works include Church Street Roses and Hunt at Dawn.
Church Street Roses captures the delicate beauty of blooming roses against the backdrop of Warren’s quiet streets, reflecting Reep’s deep connection to his hometown and its natural charm.

Hunt at Dawn, making its public debut after previously being shown only in Reep’s private studio collection, depicts a hunting dog nearly hidden within the early morning landscape. His camouflage allows him to belong completely to his surroundings, yet his attentive posture reminds us that he is awaiting something greater. The painting reflects the Christian call to be “in the world, but not of the world” (John 17:14–16), living with awareness and purpose while anticipating the light of Christ’s return.
Both works will be available for purchase through the South Arkansas Arts Center during the exhibition.
“I’m excited and grateful to the South Arkansas Arts Center for hosting this wonderful event once again,” said Reep. “It has been a privilege in years past to have my work included alongside so many talented South Arkansas artists. I look forward to sharing these pieces with the community, especially Hunt at Dawn, which has never been shown publicly before.”
