MONTICELLO, Ark. – Mainline Health Systems, Inc. was recently awarded $465.00 in grant funding by Entergy Arkansas to support MHSI’s mission of Providing the Highest Quality Clinical Services to All by purchasing pediatric pulse oximeters specifically designed for young patients. These devices provide precise and non-invasive measurements of oxygen saturation levels and heart rate in children, allowing medical providers to quickly and accurately assess a child’s respiratory health.
“We are incredibly grateful for Entergy Arkansas’s continued support of our community health initiatives in Southeast Arkansas,” said Allan Nichols, Chief Executive Officer. “This grant will have a direct impact on the quality of care we provide to our youngest patients, equipping our providers in Sheridan with the specialized tools needed for their unique health needs.”
“We are thrilled to announce our latest charitable grant to Mainline Health Systems, Inc.,” said Brandi Hinkle, public affairs representative for the utility. “As part of our ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility, Entergy Arkansas is proud to provide this funding to ensure that our philanthropic partner can continue its invaluable work. This collaboration exemplifies the dedication of Entergy Arkansas to building bright futures for all our customers and empowering our communities to thrive.”
This grant award is based on MHSI’s alignment with the Entergy Charitable Foundation focus on sustaining families through poverty solutions, education and workforce opportunities and environmental stewardship. By providing support through grants like these, Entergy Arkansas hopes to equip Mainline Health and other local nonprofits with the resources needed to expand their reach and make an even greater difference in the lives of those it serves. Charitable grants come solely from shareholder profit and not ratepayer dollars. The company also has a robust employee volunteer program and community engagement focus on helping customers with the most critical needs.
