WARREN, Ark. – The community of Possum Valley will come together on Saturday, October 25, 2025, for its annual Possum Valley Fun Day, a fundraiser supporting the Old Methodist Church and Pavilion. The event runs from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and will feature a wide variety of activities, food, and entertainment.
The Old Methodist Church will host a quilt show, with entries accepted Friday, October 24, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Visitors will also have the chance to purchase raffle tickets for a handmade quilt, available at six chances for $5. Two quilts and many other items will be offered during the auction beginning at 4:00 p.m.
Food will play a central role in the festivities. Fish dinners will be sold starting at 11:00 a.m. until supplies run out. A concession stand will also offer burgers, hot dogs, nachos, fried pies, homemade desserts, and drinks. Cake walks will take place throughout the day, and a bouncy house will be available for children.
Live entertainment will run steadily throughout the day. Performers include Tyler Hursey (10:30–11:30 a.m.), The Holcombs (12:00–1:15 p.m.), and the Haley Creek Boys (2:30–3:30 p.m.), along with a variety of local acts. One of the highlights will be the Possum Race at 2:00 p.m.
Organizers encourage the public to attend, enjoy a day of food and fellowship, and support the preservation of a historic community landmark.
