The Saline River News Player of the Week for the Drew Central match is the doubles team of Avery Wharton and Livi McKinney. This is their first year playing tennis, and their growth since starting this summer has been impressive. Both players have dedicated time outside of regular practice to improve their game. They have also developed strong on-court communication, and continued improvement is expected as the season progresses.
The team’s next match is scheduled for September 9, 2025, at SAU against the Magnolia Panthers.
