Linnie Faye Brown McNabb, 1942-2025

Linnie Faye Brown McNabb, 82, passed away on October 14th, 2025, after a determined battle with Multiple Myeloma.

She was born November 5, 1942, in Linwood, Arkansas, to Versa Roberts Brown and Oscar Arnold Brown. A lifelong resident of the Pine Bluff area, she attended elementary school at Linwood and graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1961. Linnie was known for doing things her own way and for speaking her mind, often with a candor that left a lasting impression. Linnie’s life was not without challenges, but she met them on her own terms.

She married Joe Frank McNabb on December 23, 1960, for 50 years they built a family and life marked by hard work and persistence.

She is preceded in death by her husband Joe Frank McNabb, brothers Elmer Brown, Raleigh Gene Brown, Bennie Sanders, Glenn Brown, and Lonnie Joe Brown, as well as her sister Virginia O’Neal.

Linnie is survived by her daughters Lynette Webber and her husband Mark, Loretta Woods and her husband Scott. Known affectionately as Memommie to her grandchildren, Mason Webber and his wife Haley, Madison Hilliard and her husband Kyle, Morgan Pate and her husband Zach, Cody Simmons and his wife Annaliese Gordon, Meaghan Roland and her husband Ezekial, Ethan Woods and his wife Ellie, and Ty Woods. Her sisters Estelle Hardy and Betty Larson; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A private family ceremony will be held, with interment at Union Hill Cemetery in Ingalls, Arkansas. Arrangements are being handled by Frazer’s Funeral Home in Warren, Arkansas.
