The incident occurred during the football game and resulted in a short delay as safety crews responded. The malfunctioning light remained out for the rest of the evening, though the game later resumed without further issue.

After the game, traffic was rerouted to the south side of the stadium as the light continued to spark intermittently, with visible flames or flashes just below the bulb section. Emergency crews stayed on scene to ensure spectators remained a safe distance from the affected light pole.

While no injuries were reported, the unusual occurrence drew plenty of attention from fans and added an unexpected twist to the night’s game at Warren’s home field.
