Bradley County Community Conversation Set for Dec. 3 to Address Food Insecurity

WARREN, Ark. – Local residents are invited to take part in a Bradley County Community Conversation on Wednesday, December 3, aimed at helping the public better understand how food insecurity affects families in the area—while exploring ways the community can work together to reduce hunger.

The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at First Methodist Church’s Fellowship Hall, located at 309 Turner St. in Warren.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the Arkansas Foodbank Warren Branch and hear from foodbank specialists who will share updated statistics and insights about food insecurity in Bradley County. The gathering is designed to encourage open discussion, collaboration, and problem-solving among residents, local advocates, and community organizations.

Organizers say the event will focus on several key goals, including:

  • Learning from Experts: Specialists will provide an overview of hunger-related challenges in Bradley County and discuss current trends.
  • Sharing Experiences: Community members will be able to share perspectives, ask questions, and contribute their ideas for improving local food access.
  • Building Connections: The event offers a chance to meet fellow advocates, form partnerships, and strengthen community bonds while working toward solutions.

Those planning to attend are encouraged to RSVP by Tuesday, November 25, using the QR code provided on the event flyer.

The conversation is open to all residents who want to be part of a coordinated effort to address hunger and support families across Bradley County.
