WARREN, Ark. — The Warren School District has announced that classes will be dismissed early on Friday, November 21, 2025, as the Warren Lumberjacks prepare to travel to Gosnell for Round 2 of the State Playoffs.
According to the district, a significant number of students and staff are needed for team travel, and WSD buses must be used for the trip. To accommodate this, all schools will dismiss early Friday.
The Lumberjacks are scheduled to face the Gosnell Pirates at 7 p.m. in Gosnell. Families and fans are encouraged to make plans to attend and support the team as they continue their postseason run.
At the bottom of the district’s announcement, officials included the following full statement:
“Our Warren Lumberjacks are headed to Round 2 of the State Playoffs this Friday night at 7pm in Gosnell. Due to the number of students and staff required to travel and the need to use our WSD buses, Warren School District will dismiss school Friday, November 21, 2025. Please make plans to attend the game and support our Warren Lumberjacks as they take on the Gosnell Pirates! Go Jacks!”
