WARREN, Ark. — Bradley County justices of the peace will convene Monday, Dec. 15, at 6 p.m. for both the annual Levied Court session and the county’s regular Quorum Court meeting, according to a notice from County Clerk Karen Belin.
The meeting will take place in the new courtroom at the Bradley County Courthouse.
The Levied Court will open the evening with one key item: the formal levy of 2025 property taxes, which will be collected in 2026. Once that action is completed, the Levied Court will adjourn and the regular Quorum Court meeting will begin.
On the regular agenda, justices will hear public comments, review previous meeting minutes, and consider reports from the county treasurer and sheriff. Committee updates are also scheduled, along with the County Judge’s monthly report covering County General, Road, Solid Waste, 9-1-1, and OEM operations.
Under new business, the court is expected to take up three proposed ordinances:
- Ordinance 2025-12, adopting the county’s 2026 operating budget.
- Ordinance 2025-13, related to an interlocal agreement involving District Court.
- Ordinance 2025-14, addressing an additional pay period for 2025.
Old business items may also be reviewed before the meeting concludes.
County officials noted the agenda may be amended with a vote of the Quorum Court.
