Destiny Watts, 2005-2025

Destiny Watts, a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, and friend, was born on December 13, 2005, in Warren, Arkansas, to Virginia Jackson and the late Derrick Watts. On November 29, 2025, Destiny departed this life far too soon, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love, joy, and kindness that will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

Destiny is lovingly remembered by her mother, Virginia Jackson, and her father, Kevin Brown. She leaves behind six devoted brothers: Devin Brown, Kevin Brown Jr., Aamir Lewis, Kingston Jones, Aiden Letbetter, and Jahiem Brown; and four adoring sisters: Heavenly Brown, Kashauna Flowers, Genesis Flowers, and Aubrey Letbetter.

She is also survived by her maternal grandparents, Termedia and James Jackson, and her paternal grandparents, Ladonna and Tyrone Cranford, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and loved ones who will forever treasure her memory.

Destiny is preceded in death by her grandmother Reatha Jackson, her grandfather Emerson Jackson, and her uncle Germaine Jackson, who now welcome her into eternal rest alongside her father, Derrick Watts.

A proud graduate of Rison High School, Destiny shined both academically and athletically as a member of the school’s basketball team. After graduating, she found her calling in caregiving and worked passionately as a CNA at the Green House Cottage of Rison. She loved her job deeply and was admired for her compassion, patience, and the genuine care she showed to those she served.

Known for her vibrant personality—outgoing, fun-loving, and full of life—Destiny brought joy wherever she went. She loved spending time with her family and friends, creating moments filled with laughter, warmth, and unforgettable memories.

Destiny touched countless lives with her generous heart and her ability to make others feel loved and valued. Though her time on Earth was far too brief, the impact she made will be felt forever. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever celebrated. May her beautiful spirit rest in eternal peace.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Frazer’s Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. until service time.
