Parents and community leaders are invited to join Laura Stack, Founder and CEO of Johnny’s Ambassadors, for an assembly on the dangers of high-potency marijuana products and their impact on youth mental health.  The assemblies will take place in Monticello, Arkansas on  Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 9:00 am – 10:00 am at Billies Arena and from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Drew Central Auditorium.  The assemblies will take place in Warren, Arkansas on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Warren Arena from 9:30 am – 10:30 am.  The event is free and open to parents, caregivers, and community leaders.  Advance registration is not required, however, visitors must come through the front office and sign in.

Laura Stack’s 30 year career as a keynote speaker, bestselling author of eight productivity books and corporate spokesperson came to a screeching halt on November 20, 2019, when her 19 year old son, Johnny, died of suicide after become psychotic from dabbing high THC marijuana concentrates.  Laura responded by forming the nonprofit, Johnny’s Ambassadors, to educate parents and teens about the dangers of today’s high-THC marijuana on adolescent brain development, mental illness, and suicide.

At the assemblies, Laura will share her personal story and the research behind her mission to educate parents and teens about the dangers of high-potency marijuana products.  Attendees will learn about the harmful effects of THC on adolescent and teen brain development and the connection between adolescent marijuana use and mental illness.  The assemblies will also address the results of legalizing medical marijuana in Colorado, where suicide is now the #1 cause of death in youth ages 10-18, and THC is the most common substance found in their toxicology reports.

”Today’s THC products are lab-designed, high-potency, and dangerous for the developing brains of young people,” says Laura Stack.  “We must educate ourselves about the dangers of high-THC marijuana, and these assemblies are an opportunity for youth, parents and community members to learn about the issue.”

The assemblies are sponsored by Judge Teresa French, 10th Judicial District Circuit Court, Division 5, Juvenile Drug Court. For more information about Johnny’s Ambassadors and their mission to prevent youth marijuana use, visit their website at https://JohnnysAmbassadors.org.
