Warren fell 65–45 to the Bears, moving to 1–7 on the season, but the loss was punctuated by an exceptional individual performance from Bleyze Fellows. The junior guard poured in 27 points on an ultra-efficient 12-of-15 shooting night, accounting for 60 percent of Warren’s scoring and keeping the Lumberjacks competitive for much of the contest.
The Lumberjacks were slow to settle in as Bearden opened the game on a 6–0 run. Colton Steen finally broke the drought with Warren’s first basket, and from there, Fellows took over. Attacking decisively and finishing through traffic, he sparked an offense that found just enough rhythm to stay within range. Warren closed the first quarter trailing just 19–14.
That momentum carried into the second quarter. Fellows continued to score at will, and Warren gradually chipped away at the deficit, trimming Bearden’s lead to two points at halftime, 31–29. Despite struggles from the perimeter and mounting turnovers, the Lumberjacks entered the break firmly in contention.

The third quarter proved decisive. Bearden rattled off scoring runs of six and then eleven consecutive points, stretching the margin and forcing Warren into catch-up mode. The Lumberjacks responded with effort and balance. Kaystean Jacobs converted both of his free throws and added a field goal for four points. Zaydin Grider contributed five points, while Colton Steen added four on efficient shooting, but Bearden’s sustained pressure prevented any extended rally.
Fellows closed his night with four points in the fourth quarter, capping one of the most efficient performances of the season by any Lumberjack. Warren finished the game shooting 18-of-42 from the field and 9-of-16 at the free-throw line, while Bearden capitalized on a turnover advantage to pull away late.
The Lumberjacks will close tournament play Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. against England.
