FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Former Warren Lumberjack standout Antonio Jordan has confirmed he will be back in Fayetteville next season, announcing this week that he plans to return to the Arkansas Razorbacks for the 2026 campaign.
Jordan, a true freshman wide receiver who joined Arkansas out of Warren High School, shared the news in an Instagram story.
After generating buzz early in fall camp, Jordan’s freshman season was cut short by an ankle injury suffered in September. He appeared in two games before the injury sidelined him, allowing him to preserve his redshirt. Jordan will enter the 2026 season as a redshirt freshman with four years of eligibility remaining.
At 6-foot-6 and 234 pounds, Jordan remains one of the most physically imposing young receivers on Arkansas’ roster. Razorbacks offensive coordinator Bobby Petrino previously praised Jordan’s upside, pointing to his competitiveness and playmaking ability while noting that continued development and experience at the SEC level will be key.
Jordan’s return comes at a time of transition for Arkansas’ receiving corps. The Razorbacks are set to lose veterans O’Mega Blake and Raylen Sharpe due to expired eligibility, while several other receivers are still weighing their futures. Arkansas has also added multiple newcomers and is expected to be active during the upcoming transfer portal window in early January.
For Warren fans, Jordan’s continued rise at the college level is familiar territory. Saline River News followed Jordan throughout his high school career, where he developed into one of the most dynamic athletes to ever wear a Lumberjack uniform. As a senior in 2024, he helped lead Warren to a 9-4 record and a 4A state playoff appearance. His final high school game was a memorable one, accounting for four total touchdowns in a playoff loss to Mills University Studies.
Jordan’s breakout junior season in 2023 put him firmly on the statewide radar, as he caught 43 passes for 1,041 yards and 14 touchdowns during Warren’s 15-1 run to the 4A state semifinals. He earned 4A all-state honors and became a consensus three-star recruit, eventually choosing Arkansas over offers from Florida State, South Carolina and Tennessee.
Jordan is one of two Warren alumni currently on Arkansas’ roster, joined by fullback Maddox Lassiter. As he prepares for his second year in the program, Jordan’s decision to stay in Fayetteville keeps another chapter open in a football journey that began on the fields of Warren and continues on the SEC stage.
