LITTLE ROCK, AR – Arkansas public-school personnel are encouraged to apply now to the 2026 ARTA Grants Program. The program funds grants in two categories.
The Parsons-Burnett Grant is awarded to certified personnel for the purpose of furthering their own education. Awards are intended for courses of study leading to an advanced degree, certification or endorsement.
The Mitchell-Fair Grant is awarded to classified personnel for the purpose of obtaining an Arkansas teaching license.
Grants of $2,000 each will be awarded through a competitive application process. Applications must be submitted online between January 15 and March 31, 2026. The total number of awards will be determined by the number of applications and the availability of funds.
