WARREN, Ark. — The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office released a Thursday morning road report indicating improving conditions across much of the county, though patches of ice remain on several highways and shaded areas.
According to the update, U.S. Highway 63 North and South are mostly clear, with some icy spots still present. Highway 8 South to Johnsville is reported to be about 50 percent clear and icy. Highway 160 West from Johnsville to Hermitage remains mostly covered in ice, while Highway 160 West from Hermitage to Jersey is mostly clear, with patches of ice lingering in shaded areas.
Highway 8 North is mostly clear with some icy patches, and Highway 275 has been cleared in spots but still has areas of remaining ice. County roads, for the most part, remain unchanged from previous conditions.
The sheriff’s office continues to recommend that anyone who must travel do so with caution, noting that icy patches can still pose a hazard. Officials added that they remain available to assist residents as needed.
