WARREN, Ark. – The Donald W. Reynolds YMCA of Warren and Bradley County hosted the Northwestern Oklahoma State University men’s basketball team on Wednesday, Jan. 14, as the Rangers used the facility for a practice session ahead of their scheduled game against the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
The visiting team practiced at the Warren YMCA before traveling on to Monticello for Thursday’s matchup. According to the YMCA, the visit also provided a unique opportunity for local youth, including members of the Lil Jacks program, to watch a collegiate team practice and learn from the players in a live setting.
Photos shared by the YMCA showed the Northwestern Oklahoma State players practicing on the court, gathering for instruction, and posing for a group photo in the gym.
YMCA officials expressed appreciation for the opportunity to host the Rangers and wished the team well in its upcoming contest against UAM.
