On January 3, 2026, God welcomed an angel home as the world said goodbye to someone who left an impact on many.
Tiny Davis was born to Ruth Byrd and Elbert Keathley on February 13, 1950. She grew up surrounded by 9 sisters and 3 brothers before spending most of her adult life in Warren, Arkansas. Tiny leaves behind her sons, Michael Cade and Joshua Hill. She is also survived by her loving daughters, Carrie Martin, Dana Langford, and Karen Kluz. Surviving sisters include Doris Cecil, Patsy Grammer, Lori Wiggins, Nyanna Bonham, and Katrina Simpson. She is preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Holmes (Byrd), and father, Elbert Keathley, as well as her daughters, Rebecca Hill and Pamela Laca.
Tiny has a host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who will also miss her dearly.
When we come into this world, we are guaranteed that we will one day leave it as well. What’s important is what we do with our time. God has blessed us with a precious gift of life, and Tiny Davis spent her time in full servitude of The Most High. She loved her family and friends, but above all, she loved her Savior, Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:8 lets us know that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. For those of us who were blessed to know and love Tiny, we knew her heart, as it was displayed through her beautiful smile. She greeted everyone with kindness and respect, leaving a lasting impression on all who crossed her path.
Tiny has finished her race, she has fought the good fight, and she has indeed endured until the end. She has now entered God’s Kingdom and received her reward. Tiny is resting in the grasp of Christ as she reunites with her daughter, sisters, brothers, and mother. As believers, we have a great hope that goes far beyond the grave. If we just follow the blueprint that Jesus has given us, and love Him as Tiny loved Him, we are sure to meet her again in Glory.
As we mourn, please take comfort in knowing that Tiny is in a place where darkness cannot manifest in the light, sickness is forbidden to enter, and pain is not welcome.
“We know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose….” ~Romans 8:28
