WARREN, Ark. – Fire crews across Bradley County responded to two separate structure fires on New Year’s Day, one of which resulted in a family losing their home, according to posts from local fire departments.
The first fire was reported by the Bradley County Rural Fire Department on January 1. In a social media post, the department asked the public to pray for a family who “lost everything in their house on New Year’s Day.” Photos shared by the department show a residence and nearby structures fully involved, with heavy smoke and flames visible as firefighters worked the scene. The department did not release the location of this fire. No injuries were reported, and the cause has not been made public.

Earlier that morning, the County Line Fire Department responded to what it described as its first fire of the year at approximately 8 a.m. The fire occurred on Bradley 18E, according to the department’s post. Images from the scene show a small structure that sustained heavy fire damage, with firefighters conducting both interior and exterior operations to bring the fire under control. No injuries were reported, and officials did not release information regarding the cause of that fire.
Fire officials continue to remind residents to use caution during the winter months, when heating sources and dry conditions can increase the risk of fires. Additional details may be released as they become available.
