Despite the final margin, the Lumberjacks continued to compete throughout the night and received steady leadership from Colton Steen. Steen led all Warren scorers with 12 points, scoring in every quarter while also contributing on the glass and protecting the rim. His all-around effort helped keep Warren organized offensively against an aggressive Wildcats defense.
Warren also received balanced contributions from several teammates. Bleyze Fellows, Zaydin Grider, and Josiah Steen each added five points. Josiah Steen delivered his best stretch in the second quarter, accounting for all of his scoring during that period, while Grider knocked down a key perimeter basket. Off the bench, Angel Herron provided a spark, converting his lone field goal attempt.
The Lumberjacks will look to regroup and build on the positive stretches from Friday’s game when they return to action next Tuesday against Star City.
