WARREN, Ark. – Kolby Pope, a 2025 graduate of Warren High School, has successfully completed both Basic Military Training and Technical School with the United States Air Force.
Pope began his military career in October 2024 upon enlisting in the United States Air Force. He attended Basic Military Training in San Antonio, Texas, where he completed the program before continuing to Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas.
While at Sheppard Air Force Base, Pope enrolled in the Heavy Aircraft Integrated Avionics course. After months of intensive academic and hands-on instruction, he graduated on Feb. 3, 2026.
Pope plans to pursue full-time employment with the United States Air Force as he begins his career in avionics. He is the son of Scott and Holli Pope. His brother, Staff Sgt. Kendall Pope, is also serving in the Air Force, and the two will have the opportunity to work alongside one another.
